I felt your pain in the comments you wrote, wishing I could find words of wisdom for you…Hollywood and the world in general has made most of us feel “unworthy”, we look at airbrushed, light enhanced (unhealthy) models all day beleiving that is the standard of real beauty – but we have the power to overlook the superficial and dig down deep into the place that gives you the strength to walk and run the 7 hour journeys and ask yourself what is really important to me? Are you going to draw your inner strenth from other people’s idea of what you should look like or are you going to draw strength from your own inner fortitude and desire to stay healthy and fit. One more thing before I leave these unsolicited words of (my own) wisdom…
Your life journey to unhealthness did not take a few months or a few years to establish and it seems like forever to get back to where you want to be. Be patient, be realistic, and don’t take yourself too seriously Life will give back to you what you put into it. <3
